First of all I want to thank you for taking time to read our newsletter every month where you can learn more about health, food, nutrition and supporting local events & businesses.
After going through this year, and being the CEO of a woman owned business, I have to say it was very stressful & scary. We did not know if we were going to be able to make it. We pride that we did not have to fire or reduce anyone's hours thanks to the PPP loan and also it is due to the fact that we have loyal customers that have trusted us with their health. We can guarantee we produce your meals with the highest safety standards and now we also wear masks. We are trained to create your food with care, love, and follow the Florida Health Department's highest standards of food production.
COVID has gotten the best of us this year. It has made many businesses no longer be able to operate and has left many people affected with no jobs & income. It has taken many loved ones away from us as well. Additionally it left many parents with children at home and with no school to attend. So after having this sickness around us for over 9 months, we are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel - there is a vaccine!
But all this year has made me appreciate my health, my family and my time more than ever! I am thankful for having customers that helped us survive a hard 2020. I am also thankful to our wonderful employees who never stopped working to ensure we were able to get Healthy Xpress meals delivered in a contactless manner during the most scary times. Additionally. we were able to donate over 5000 meals to first responders with the help of different partners like Trustbridge, Sheriffs Foundation of Broward County, and Junior Achievement.
We want to welcome 2021 with open arms, as a stronger and now larger company serving many families & schools healthy meals. We want to make sure everyone understands the importance of having at least 1 healthy meal a day, and the impact it has to our overall health and wellbeing!
Happy 2020 and we will see you on January 3, 2021 with more healthy meals.
Pamela Gonzalez
CEO of Healthy Xpress
